Your vehicle records stay local
Vehicle profiles, service history, expense records, mileage, notes, receipt labels, custom reminders, and preferences are stored on your Android device unless you choose to export or share them.
Google services are used
PitCue uses Google services for ads, ad consent, analytics, crash reports, Play Services, and Google Play Billing. These services may process device, usage, ad, diagnostic, and purchase data under their own policies.
No PitCue account is required
PitCue does not require a PitCue account and does not operate its own cloud sync service for your car maintenance records.
1. Information You Provide or Create
When you use PitCue, you may create or enter information such as:
- Vehicle names, make, model, year, odometer or mileage, distance unit, and license plate or plate label.
- Service records including service title, service date, mileage, cost, shop or mechanic name, notes, and receipt references.
- Expense records including category, date, amount, mileage, merchant, and notes.
- Custom maintenance reminders, reminder intervals, currency preference, theme preference, onboarding state, Pro access state, ad-removal state, and rewarded export credits.
- Exported text records that you choose to share through Android sharing flows.
PitCue stores this user-created vehicle and maintenance information in the app's local storage on your Android device. LTeam does not automatically upload your vehicle profiles, service history, expense records, notes, mileage, plate labels, or receipt references to LTeam servers.
2. Local Storage, Backup, and Export
PitCue is designed as a local-first app. Vehicle profiles, service records, expense records, custom reminders, currency settings, and related app preferences are stored locally using Android app storage.
The app currently allows Android backup and uses Android data extraction rules. Depending on your Android version, Google account, device manufacturer, and device settings, Android or Google backup and device-transfer systems may back up or transfer app data. LTeam does not control those platform backup systems.
PitCue includes a text export feature. If you choose to export records, PitCue creates a text summary and passes it to Android's share sheet. The receiving app or service handles that exported information under its own privacy policy.
3. Information Collected Automatically
PitCue uses Firebase Analytics to understand broad app usage and improve the app. Analytics events may include screen views, ad lifecycle events, rewarded-ad events, export actions, purchase actions, service-saved events, expense-saved events, vehicle-saved events, and Pro state.
PitCue is designed to avoid sending the exact vehicle names, plate labels, shop names, merchant names, notes, receipt references, full service history, full expense history, or exact local records that you enter. Some analytics values may include general states, product identifiers, plan identifiers, reward information, ad placement, and ad value information reported by Google Mobile Ads.
Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash reports and diagnostics such as crash traces, app version, device model, operating system version, timestamps, installation identifiers, premium state, and other technical information needed to diagnose app errors.
4. Advertising, Consent, and Purchases
PitCue is an ad-supported app and may show app open ads, banner ads, native ads, or rewarded ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and related Google services may collect or receive information such as IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, device information, advertising identifiers, app interactions, ad interactions, diagnostics, and fraud-prevention signals to provide ads, measure performance, prevent abuse, and comply with legal requirements.
PitCue uses Google's User Messaging Platform where required to request and manage ad privacy choices. Depending on your region and settings, you may be able to choose whether ads are personalized. PitCue may also provide a privacy options entry point for managing ad consent choices when available.
PitCue may offer Pro subscriptions through Google Play Billing. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. LTeam and PitCue receive purchase status, product identifiers, plan identifiers, purchase tokens, and entitlement state needed to unlock, acknowledge, and restore Pro access, but do not receive your full payment card details.
You can manage ad personalization and advertising ID settings through your Android device settings and Google's ad settings.
5. Permissions and Device Features
PitCue may use the following Android permissions or system features, including permissions added by Google SDKs used by the app:
- Internet and network state: used for ads, analytics, crash reporting, consent management, Play Billing, and related Google services.
- Advertising ID: may be used by Google Mobile Ads and related Google services for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and privacy controls where available.
- Android share sheet: used when you choose to export and share your PitCue records as text.
- Local app storage: used to save vehicle profiles, service records, expenses, reminders, and preferences on your device.
PitCue does not request camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, SMS, call log, calendar, or account access.
6. Third-Party Services
PitCue may use the following third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms:
7. How Information Is Used
Information handled by PitCue is used to:
- Provide vehicle tracking, mileage tracking, service logs, expense logs, maintenance reminders, ownership cost summaries, receipt references, currency formatting, and record export features.
- Show and measure ads, manage ad consent, and support rewarded-ad export credits.
- Process Pro subscriptions, unlock premium features, remove ads for active Pro users, and restore purchases.
- Understand app usage patterns and improve reliability, usability, performance, and feature quality.
- Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes or technical issues.
- Respond to support requests when you choose to contact LTeam.
8. Sharing and Disclosure
LTeam does not sell your vehicle records, service history, expense records, mileage data, plate labels, receipt references, or notes. Information may be shared or processed in these cases:
- With third-party service providers listed in this policy, as needed to provide ads, analytics, crash reporting, billing, consent management, and related app functionality.
- With Android, Google backup, or device-transfer services when enabled by your device and account settings.
- With external apps or services when you intentionally export records, share information, contact support, send screenshots, or otherwise move information outside PitCue.
- When required to comply with law, enforce policies, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect rights, safety, and security.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Vehicle, service, expense, and reminder information stored locally remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, clear app data, uninstall the app, restore or transfer app data, or otherwise remove it through Android or PitCue features.
Exported records remain wherever you choose to send or save them. If you share or upload an export to another service, that service's own policy applies.
Data included in Android backups or device transfers is retained according to Android, Google, manufacturer, and account settings. You can manage backup behavior through your device and Google account settings.
Analytics, crash, ads, consent, and billing data processed by Google services are retained according to those providers' policies and your account/device settings.
Because PitCue does not require a PitCue account, there is no PitCue account to delete. You can delete local PitCue data by deleting records in the app where available, clearing app data in Android settings, or uninstalling the app.
10. Security
PitCue uses Android app storage, Android permission controls, Android sharing flows, and platform billing/ads SDKs to support app functionality. Data sent to Google services by their SDKs is transmitted using secure transport where provided by those services. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, lock screen, Google account, backups, screenshots, exported records, and any external storage or service you choose to use.
11. Children's Privacy
PitCue is not directed to children under 13. LTeam does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through PitCue, contact LTeam so appropriate action can be taken.
12. International Use
Third-party services used by PitCue may process information on servers located in different countries. By using PitCue, you understand that technical, analytics, advertising, crash, consent, and billing data may be processed outside your country of residence according to the applicable third-party policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
LTeam may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of PitCue after a policy update means you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact
If you have questions, requests, or concerns about this Privacy Policy or PitCue privacy practices, contact LTeam at lteamrick3@gmail.com.
