Your files stay on your device
Compression is performed on your device. The app does not upload your selected photos, videos, or PDFs to LTeam servers.
History is stored locally
Recent compression records and app preferences are kept on your device and can be cleared in the app.
Google services are used
Ads, analytics, crash diagnostics, and subscriptions use Google services, subject to your settings and applicable consent choices.
1. Information You Select or Create
When you choose files to compress, SizeDown accesses the selected photos, videos, or PDFs to read and process them on your device. You may also choose an output folder or share files with SizeDown from another app. The app creates compressed output files in the destination you select.
To show your recent work, SizeDown stores a local history record that can include file names, file locations or content URIs, media type, file sizes, image dimensions or video duration, compression settings, result status, and the time of processing. The app also stores preferences such as your selected output folder and premium access status. This information is not sent to LTeam as part of the compression feature.
2. Local Processing, Storage, and Backup
Photo, video, and PDF compression is performed on your device. Files may be read or written temporarily while a task is running; completed output files are saved to the destination you choose. SizeDown does not operate a cloud service for uploading or synchronizing your files.
History and preferences are stored in the app's local data. Android backup and device-transfer behavior may depend on your Android version, device, account, and settings. LTeam does not control Android or Google backup services. Deleting a history entry or clearing history removes the corresponding records from the app, but does not delete the original or output files from their folders.
3. Information Processed by Google Services
SizeDown includes Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These services may process app interaction and diagnostic information, such as app and device identifiers, device model, operating system and app versions, timestamps, crash details, and technical events. Google may also process network information such as IP address. These services are used to understand app use and diagnose reliability issues; they are not used by SizeDown to upload the contents of files you compress.
The app uses Google AdMob to request and display ads when ads are enabled. Google and its partners may process advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, device and app information, ad activity, and diagnostics to deliver, measure, and protect advertising, subject to your consent and device settings. Ads are disabled for users whose premium access is active.
Google's User Messaging Platform may be used to present consent choices and privacy options where applicable. You can manage available choices in the app's privacy settings and through Android or Google ad settings.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
SizeDown uses Google Play Billing for premium subscriptions. Google Play processes payment information. The app receives purchase and subscription status, including the information needed to enable or restore premium access. LTeam does not receive your full payment card details through the app.
5. Permissions and Sharing
SizeDown uses Android's file picker and granted file access to let you select source files and save outputs. It may open the system share sheet or provide a file to another app only when you choose to share or open it. The app uses internet connectivity for Google ads, analytics, crash diagnostics, and Google Play Billing.
LTeam does not sell your files or local compression history. Information may be processed by Google to provide the services described above, or disclosed if required by law or to address security, fraud, or abuse. When you choose to share a file with another app or service, that recipient's privacy practices apply.
6. Third-Party Services
Google services have their own privacy terms and practices:
7. Retention and Your Choices
Local history and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear SizeDown's app data, or uninstall the app. Original and compressed files remain until you delete them using SizeDown or another file manager. You can manage or clear recent compression history in the app's Recent screen. Google services retain data according to their policies and your account and device settings.
You can manage the advertising ID and ad personalization in Android or Google settings, and use the privacy options in SizeDown when they are available for your region. Uninstalling the app stops future app collection from that installation; it does not delete files you previously saved or data retained by Google under its policies.
8. Security and Children's Privacy
SizeDown relies on Android app storage and permission controls to help protect locally stored information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. SizeDown is not directed to children under 13, and LTeam does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. International Processing
Google services may process technical, analytics, advertising, diagnostic, or billing information on servers in countries other than your own, in accordance with their applicable policies.
10. Changes to This Policy
LTeam may update this policy as SizeDown or its services change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
